Hello, my friend and welcome back! My wife was going through some of my old writings from before I started my blog. There was one from 2013 which she insisted that I publish for my readers. I think many of you will agree that a lot of what is in it is still true today, but please forgive me for the lack of paragraphs in it as I was just starting to develop my writing skills. Grab a cup of coffee and have a seat while we visit.
There is a storm brewing on the horizon my friends and it is going to be a terrible one!
It will be known as America’s second civil war. Our great Nation is once again divided, not by Slavery but by the belief in true Freedom. The lines are drawn. On one side, you have the U.S. Government and those who would blindly give up the rights and Freedom that so many brave men and women have fought and died for. They have become so complacent, so lazy that they refuse to earn their own way in the world and would rather that the government do it for them. The fact that it cost them their freedom is of no interest to them. They follow like sheep to the slaughter, never questioning the path they have chosen.
While on the other side of this war you will find those who truly value their freedom and would rather die than surrender to the tyranny of a government that has betrayed them. A Government that has betrayed all of those who have fought and died to protect it. Men and women that will do anything they can to protect the U.S. Constitution and its Bill of Rights. Those who believe it does not fall to them to provide a living for those who are unwilling to try to help themselves. I, my friend, am proud to count myself among these fine men and women who will defend what made this Nation great. We the people shall rise up against those who would pervert and twist the Constitution to suit their own desires. Those who would seek to choke our freedoms because of some reason they deem as riches and holy in their eyes only. We will uphold the Constitution of the United States and its Bill of Rights with our very lives if necessary.
Watch the news, educate yourself on the facts, and do not just take my word for it. Decide for yourself where you stand because the time is coming when you will have to decide who you will stand with. Whether you will choose Tyranny and Oppression or Freedom and Democracy!
Thomas Jefferson once said that “The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.”

You are absolutely correct.. While the election of President Trump has provided hope that the course of the country will be brought around, the reality is that the new government will be forced to institute changes in how it spends its money. The only way Trump can put into action the wide range of changes the he has promised is to significantly reduce and revise the myriad of programs that has been responsible for the creation of generation of “non-producers”. Once the freebies are reduced or even eliminated, a significant part of the population revolt in response. So, Sarge, I think that your fears are valid and probably come to fruition in the not-to-far future. Now is not the time to sit back and coast.
