Hello, my friend and welcome back! Today I need to do a book review that is long overdue. The book TAEKWONDO Basics written by Scott Shaw and published by Tuttle Publishing is a great book! I look forward to discussing it with you today. Now, grab a cup of coffee and have a seat while we visit.

If you have ever considered learning Taekwondo, or even just learning something about it, then this book is the one for you. Scott Shaw is a tremendous writer, with an incredible knowledge of this sport and is gifted in his ability to communicate it to the reader. He is absolutely one of the best writers in this book genre.

This book starts with a short history of Taekwondo Basics, and quickly moves you into the philosophy of the sport, to help you wrap your head around it and how it came to be, He then wastes no time in getting you started with the basics of Taekwondo. Stances, blocks, hand and arm strikes, and kicking as well.

This book is packed full of beautiful illustrations that show you just how to make the moves as he talks about in the book. Stretching exercises and kicking drills are also included as well. If you are into Martial Arts training, then this is a book you don’t want to miss. Get your copy today.

I can eagerly give this book 5 stars! It’s awesome!
