In today’s Video Monday Post we are going to look at a nice video by Bn T Smith on portable power for your bug out bag. When it comes time to bug out, one thing you will need to have with you is a portable source of power. You may need it for your radio communications, or for powering other types of emergency devices. Now don’t get me wrong, I know that there are other forms of portable power, but waiting for the sun to come out and charge a tiny little battery that can be used up quickly is not always ideal. I ran across this video on building a portable power box using an old ammunition can, and I think it is pretty cool. It has the ability to be recharged using solar power, but the battery size and the available wattage is what makes all of the difference as you could probably go for days without needing to recharge it.
