Hello my friend and welcome back! I have been recently working on creating a Prepper Coalition in my area and have been surprised at some of the things I’m hearing from the Prepper Community on the subject. It seems that the Federal Government has been working overtime with their distribution of propaganda aimed at Preppers. This is the subject of today’s post and I hope you will enjoy it. Grab yourself a cup of coffee and have a seat while we visit.
Let me say right up front that anyone that honestly believes that the US government is not actively spreading propaganda about the dangers of Prepping is a fool! They are doing everything they can and using every trick in their bag to stop or limit organized Prepper groups from forming. They want to eliminate Preppers all together and especially don’t want us to organize! Where they may be able to easily control one or two Preppers, trying to control larger groups would prove difficult if not impossible.
We all know that there is strength in numbers and a lone wolf won’t really have a chance when SHTF hits. To counter this, the government is spreading the idea that belonging to a Prepper group or Prepper community is a bad thing and will get you killed in the end. I mean stop and think about it, It’s the best way to discourage Preppers from organizing and becoming stronger. Don’t fall for it! If you have a chance to join a Prepper Coalition then by all means do!
So what is a Prepper Coalition? Simply put it is a group of individual Preppers and Prepper groups who get together to share ideas and skills that benefit all in attendance. If you are a lone Prepper, it gives you the opportunity to get to know other Preppers in your area. It also gives you the opportunity to meet others that have organized into groups and see if you think you would be a good fit for one or them. If not, then you may want to band with others who are not currently part of any group and form your own. It also allows those who have formed groups to meet and interview potential new members to see if they might fit into their group. It is a win-win situation.
For the Prepper groups in the area, it allows them the opportunity to meet other groups and possibly form mutual support agreements should the need ever arise. If one group needs a person with a particular skill and another group has more than one, they may want to trade out a couple of members so that both groups are well-rounded. No one is forced to join any group and should only consider joining if both they and the members of the group feel it would be of mutual advantage to do so and the new addition would be a good fit for their group. In a Prepper Coalition, everyone wins but the government and the Government will stop at nothing to keep them from forming.
My point here that I’m trying to make is that we all know that trying to go it alone when SHTF hits will be deadly and we must join with others if we want to survive. DO NOT fall for that Government propaganda that being a part of a group is bad and you should never do it. It is a lie designed to keep us from organizing and becoming a force to be reckoned with. Together we are much stronger than we are alone and we must actively work to fight the propaganda the Government is spreading. Yes there are many well know Preppers out there who have bought it hook line and sinker and are using their celebrity status to help the government without even knowing it. Think for yourself! If it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck and walks like a duck then it’s probably a duck! There is security in numbers and that is a basic truth that has been demonstrated down through history. Don’t let anyone tell you any different. If we are going to survive SHTF, then we will have to do it as a group and not as a lone wolf! But I live among Sheeple who are either clueless or could care less about preparing for anything beyond what color to paint their fingernails or which new weekend toy to buy.
I know of several who *could* be an asset, but are too lazy to get off their butts and actually do what they learn (usually online). These are the ones who just want to sit around and talk about a variety of things; but not DO it (now).
I milk, I grow beef, poultry and garden. I harvest, can, dehydrate, I freeze, and MAKE things with what I grow to eat. I do things now, not just sit around and make plans and talk about it.
For years I’ve worked hard and know many whom I don’t want “help” from if SHTF. If they already like the drama of stupid trivial crap now, I can not imagine dealing with these people in a crisis situation.
I can totally see your point! I was referring to those who are on the edge, or have already begun to prepare. These are the ones you need to seek out. 🙂
