Hello my friend and welcome back! When it all falls apart and chaos is everywhere, you’re going to need to have your priorities straight if you’re going to survive. Don’t wait until it all falls apart to start them. In today’s post, we are going to look at what those priorities should be and how to go about creating them. Grab yourself a cup of coffee and have a seat while we visit.
When SHTF hits, everyone around you will be running around with their hand in the air and saying “Were all going to die!” Don’t let yourself get drawn into that line of thinking. You see, I believe that no matter how well you prepare, when it actually happens we will all be caught a little off guard. People are going to go insane and only those of us with a good solid plan will be able to keep our heads when everyone else loses theirs.
Remaining calm is the key and the key to remaining calm is to be prepared and have your priorities clearly laid out in advance. If you’re smart you will be able to recognize it for what it is and actually take advantage of it while others are still trying to figure out what is going on.
Let me give you an example of what I’m talking about. Let’s say that an EMP or and CME were to occur and the nation was suddenly without power? Millions of trucks will dead on the side of the road and many will be stocked with the things you will need to survive. I’m not just talking about food and water, but trucks like Walmart’s will be loaded with everything from food and clothing supplies to shoes and ammunition. They will literally be a gold mine of goods and they will belong to whoever gets to them first!
We all know that the first 24 to 72 hours will be the most critical because that is how long it will take for the unprepared to realize that something really bad has happened and it will not be fixed anytime soon. While there will be a few who catch on more quickly than others, most will think it is just a temporary situation and look at it as unexpected time off from work. They won’t have a chance.
You need to figure out what it is that you will need the most or are lacking in. Maybe it’s guns or ammo? It could be knives or camping equipment. You just need to take a good hard look at what you have and what you need the most.
Only by thinking ahead and setting your priorities and what you need to do, based on the cause of the SHTF, can you get the jump on others and add to your supplies for survival. You will obviously want to fill all of your water containers as soon as possible regardless of what causes the disaster.
You will want to make the most of the time you have and beat the other rats to the cheese. Let’s suppose it is a cyber attack on the electrical grid? What would be your priority, besides collecting additional water? In this case you will need to think outside the box. While businesses will be down, nothing else will, which will cut your opportunities way down. In this case, buying extra food using cash would be your best opportunity.
Later on, after the looting has begun, you may want to go in and look for things the looters over looked. They are going to be more interested in electronics and such and will likely have no interest in camping gear and bow and arrows. If the store sells hand guns, they may be gone but the hunting rifles will likely still be there. This is your opportunity to add to the supplies you already have, for free.
By knowing what you need and setting your priorities now, when things suddenly all fall apart, you will be able to spring into action and get what you need, before the gangs and thugs get them. Take the time now to sit down and make your list of items needed and be ready when it all falls apart.
Well,I guess that’s it for today and I hope you have enjoyed this post. Until next time, stay safe, stay strong and stay prepared. God Save America!

Sarge, the thing we need most now is a deep hole in the ground. The bombs are getting ready to fall my friend. I’m breaking ground on one and hope I have it finished before the surface is glowing in the dark!!!
Amen,Thor! It’s like the perfect storm is coming together!
