Hello, my friend and welcome back! I want to apologize for the sporadic posts, but I’m posting as I get the chance. Today, I want to address the Nevada shooting by Stephen Paddock. My heart goes out to all of the victims and families affected by it. This is a terrible, senseless tragedy and I, like most, are struggling to understand why a seemingly normal 64-year-old man would do such a thing. One thing I do know is that the gun control fanatics are going to be all over this and screaming for more gun control. They won’t be doing it because they care anything about the victims, but because it would serve their own agenda. In this case, gun control is not the answer, but rather access to the mental health system that is to blame here. The stigma and the treatment that comes as part of mental illness, as well as access to it is to blame, not guns. This is a dark day in America, and may God Bless us one and all.
