Post SHTF tools of the trade: What you will need to fight back!

Hello, my friend and welcome back!  In today’s post, were going to look at what you will need to fight back and survive in a post SHTF world.  With the US Election rapidly coming, things are sure to get dicey at best and here are a few things I think you should have, before it all goes to hell.  Grab a cup of coffee and have a seat while we visit.

One thing is for certain, and it’s that the Presidential election on November 8^th, is sure to be marred with violence.  Each group feels very passionately about their candidate and will surely be out in force.  For each of them, the thought of losing this election is unthinkable and tempers are sure to flare as the media tries to create story’s which they think will help Hillary.  People will be watching for busloads of people, being brought into their state and across County lines to vote.  There will be violence in the streets and that is an inescapable fact.

Please get out and vote, because our very freedoms depend on it.  Once you have voted, go home and prepare for all hell to break loose once the winner is announced.   As I said in yesterday’s post, Civil War is a certainty, no matter who wins the election.  The question is “Are you prepared to see open, uncontrolled violence like many of you have never seen occur on our streets?”  For those of us who have survived war, or worked in Law Enforcement, we have seen just how evil people can be.  If you haven’t, then you honestly have no idea what people are capable of doing.

True evil is a terrifying thing and you had better be ready for it.  To do this, you need to have certain “Tools” available to you.  So what are these “Tools” I’m talking about?  There are many and like other tools, each will have its own particular use.  I’m talking about guns and ammo, bow and arrows, knives, and machetes.  These are the tools of rebellion and may be all that stands between you and death, when the time comes.

There are many variations of each of these and you need to have as many as you can available.  Rifles are excellent for defending yourself, when you can see your enemy coming such as a large group of angry rioters that are looking for someone to take their anger out on and you are in their direct path.   If they are closer, then a shotgun may be your best option.  Still closer yet, then you may want to use a knife or machete to fight them off.

So why did I add the bow and arrow to the list above?  You see there will be times when you may need to defend yourself from a distance without drawing a lot of attention to yourself.  Bow and arrows and crossbows are silent and deadly, when used right.  The trouble is that like firearms, they take time to master.  If you are a small or frail person then pulling back on the string of these weapons may seem like an insurmountable task.  If this is the case then you could always turn to the crossbow because it allows you to use more of your body when pulling back the string and setting it.

Bows and firearms are not the only tools I’m talking about, however.  While having a knife is better than nothing when being attacked, if you don’t know how to use it, then it will usually just get you killed.  There are other “Tools” that you can use however.  Things such as baseball bats or a good heavy nine iron will work, when you have nothing else, but only when you have nothing else.  The key is to get the firearms and ammunition you will need now and not find yourself wishing you had later.

Look at where you live and if you plan on staying there then find a way to defend it now not later.  Is there a place where you could see oncoming trouble at a distance?  Maybe on the roof of your home or a nearby building where you can conceal yourself and see the area around your home.  It is better to figure this out now, rather than later.  If nothing else, add wireless cameras, to watch the areas around your home.  Remember, the sooner you see trouble coming, the more likely you are to survive it.

While most of this applies to people who live in the cities, it could happen anywhere.   All it takes is a large group that feels they have been wronged somehow and they will quickly become dangerous.  It can happen anywhere and we all need to be watching.  Do not let yourself become complacent over this election; you need to be on guard at all times and be ready for anything.  All of those preps you have will not mean a thing if you get killed by a mob of angry people looking for revenge for some perceived wrong doing.
