Are you ready for hell week?

Hello my friend and welcome back!  “Are you ready for hell week?” is the question I keep asking myself and my friends.  In today’s post, were going to look at what we can expect in the weeks following the US Presidential election here in the US.  Grab yourself a cup of coffee and have a seat while we visit.

So what exactly is “Hell Week”?  Hell week is the week starting the day after the presidential election, on November 8th of this year.  What makes it so special you might ask?  Well you see, regardless of whom wins the election, there will be hell to pay because neither side will accept defeat. There will be protesting and rioting in the streets and that is a given.

How bad will it get?  That’s pretty much anyone’s guess, but you can bet it will be really bad.  The riots we have seen across the country, as well as the police shootings, are sure to be seen again.  Our Government has become so corrupt that it’s as plain as the nose on your face.  No one will trust the outcome and the losing side will insist that the vote was tampered with and therefore not valid.

There is no doubt that chaos will rain across the country and I would not be surprised to see Martial Law put into effect, because of the riots and looting that are sure to follow.  President Obama has said that he may not be willing to accept Trump as the next President and may try to remain in office, which would touch off another Civil War here in America.

OK, I’m getting a little off subject here, so let me explain, what we can be expecting for the week directly after the election. The day after the election, you can expect the morning to be calm as everyone recovers from the night before.  They will want to hear the official announcement of the Election outcome and make plans for the coming days.

By the end of the first day, depending on who wins, I would expect the crowds in the streets to start winding up and the rioting to start with small groups, growing larger as the week progresses. You see, no one trust the Government anymore and sadly enough, the Government has done little to try to change that.

The riots and looting will build to a fever pitch by the end of the week and many officials will go on TV and plead for peace.  A peace that will not come for a long while and Martial Law will no doubt be declared to try to restore peace and to buy time for the Government to decide what to do.  Will they bring in UN troops to try to help calm the American people?  I certainly hope not, because that will just open a whole new can of worms and make things worse.

Now please don’t get me wrong, the violence will not end with the first week, it will only be the beginning.  Where it will end will ultimately depend on how it is handled by the authorities.  The media will no doubt be putting their spin on the events, to try to increase their viewer’s numbers.

So what exactly does this mean to us Preppers?  What should we do to prepare for hell week?  The first thing we need to do is to be sure you have a plan to get away from any violence that may occur near or around you. Don’t wait until the last minute thinking everything is going to be “OK” and get caught in a bad place.  You need to have plenty of food and water, as well as medicine and gas for your car.  Be ready and if you have a place to bug out to, you may want to plan on spending the week there, after the election.  Contact your family, the day before the election and make plans, so they can contact you in an emergency.  Give them the heads up and hope they follow it.

So why am I telling you this?  Because I feel I have a responsibility to my readers, to let them know what may be coming at them.  I spend a lot of time watching the different news sources and analyzing current events.  I have no desire to be caught off guard, so I watch and prepare.  I hope you will do the same.

Well I guess that is it for today and I hope you have found it worth your time to read.  Until next time, please stay safe, stay strong and stay prepared.  God Save America!

  1. Sarg,
I agree with you 100% and I thank you for reminding me of a few things I need to do at the beginning of the week of elections.

  2. As soon as I drink the last sip of this coffee, I’m going out to my shop and put my red lion precision fore end on my keltec sub 2k that I keep in my truck with 30 round happy sticks and a few hundred rounds. If I’m stuck away from home, I think I can shoot my way through the fray of rioters and get back home to everything that will keep me alive for a few years, with no interaction with people.
