Hello, my friend and welcome back! I, like many of you rejoiced, when Donald Trump won the US election, but that is no reason to let your guard down. In today’s post, were going to look at why that is, so grab a cup of coffee and have a seat while we visit.
While talking to a good friend of mine over the weekend, he made the remark that now that Trump is in the White House; we no longer need to worry. WRONG! We will need to be ready for disasters of any kind, not just the ones from our President. You need to remember that he has not even been sworn in yet, there are still tons of things that can happen!
If you don’t count that, there are still natural disasters, EMP attacks from other countries, as well as terrorist attacks on our power grid. Yes, there are still a lot of things that can go wrong in the blink of an eye. We still have IRAN, N. Korea, and ISIS to contend with, so there is definitely no reason to drop our guard.
Let’s take a look at some of these so I can explain where I see the hot spots still being, shall we. Let’s start with the election. While Trump has won the election by normal standards, the Democrats have not given up just yet. Because the Electoral College does not vote until December the 19th, many Democrats see it as an opportunity to buy the election.
You see, not all Electoral voters are required to vote as their state did. These are the ones the Democratic Party is targeting. They are trying to bribe them to change their vote, by voting for Hillary Clinton instead of Donald Trump as they should. Granted, there is a very small chance that they could succeed but they are still trying.
Donald Trump is not the President until he is sworn in and there is a lot that can still happen between now and then. When Obama and Joe Biden spoke at the White House after the election, they did not seem the least concerned about the outcome of the election and in fact seemed almost happy about it. They were joking and patting each other on the back during and after the address. I strongly feel that they still have a few tricks up their sleeve. Trust me when I say it isn’t over yet.
Now, llet’s look at IRAN and how it will affect them. IRAN already hates the US and they have made that abundantly clear. The IRAN deal is sure to be canceled, but I don’t expect that to make IRAN any difference, because they have already gotten what they wanted. I would expect Trump, however, to lead the fight to have all of the sanctions from before, as well as new sanctions put against IRAN and this will anger the hell out of them.
In the days following the Inauguration of President Trump, I expect to see them do a lot of saber retelling and that is about it. President Trump will not stand idly by why they fire missiles at our ships, like Obama did. The same goes for the Russians flying dangerously close to our ships and planes. He will authorize them to be shot down and I think the Russians know it. It doesn’t mean they won’t try, but it does mean that they won’t do it more than once.
Now, let’s take a look at ISIS and their terrorist networks. I fully expect to see a large increase in Terror attacks on US soil and foreign interest now that their US supporters are being removed from office. President Trump has said many times that he will stop the influx of illegal Muslim Refugees and begin the deporting process of the ones who have already infiltrated our Nation.
Now, I fully believe that the Middle-Eastern countries such as Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates have been funding the Refugee immigration to other Countries as a means of spreading ISLAM throughout the world. I also fully expect them to have an adverse reaction to President Trump’s actions. This means we can expect to see a new well-funded Nation added to our enemy list.
This is not to mention other nations, such as China, who will at the very least, have to change their approach towards dealing with the US. No, now is definitely not the time to drop our guard or think we can take a break. Like they say, it’s never over till the fat lady sings and I haven’t heard her sing yet! All and all, we have just as much to worry about and prepare for as we did before. The only thing that has changed is that we may now have a president who has promised to have our back.
For now, all we can do is to take a deep breath and push on. Until next time, stay safe, stay strong, and stay prepared. God Bless America!
