Hello, my friend and welcome back! When SHTF happens, it could very well mean living without power for electric tools. In a case like this, we will quickly find our selves pushed back to the days of the pioneers, and in many cases, without the knowledge, they had at that time. We need to learn how they survived as well as how to make tools from what’s around us. One of the mainstays of the pioneers was the ability to make what is called a “Shaving Horse”. As its name implies, it is a device to help in the shaving down of wooden poles into a useful shape with minimal effort. The shaving horse uses foot pressure to secure the pole while you shave it down to the desired size and shape. It’s really quite smart and is easy to build. Today’s video will show you just how to do it and in another post, I will walk you through the steps myself to help you create one suited to your body size and strength.
